   Comments: It is understandable that Stephanie would want to put the book on hold after everything that has happened. However, I refuse to give up hope that I will one day be able to buy a copy of Midnight Sun from Barnes and Noble and put it on my shelf next to Twilight. Please, Stephanie, don't loose faith in your millions of devoted fans.

    Comments: it toltaly unfair that we might not get midnight sun...just because some loser posted like a few chapters online doesn't mean we all have read them.....i too want to know about edwards ppoint of veiw and his thoughs throughout the whole book...i know when reading twilight for the second or third time and was actualy wondering what endward would be thinking at that point.......like seriously i already have a spot cleard for midnight sun on my bookself......like seriously steph...i love yas...but grow up!!!!!

If the finished version was going to be so different to the leaked version then what are you complaining about It isn't as if you can really complain that people have been spoiled since you're basically cashing in on your fans by rewriting Twilight.

We understand that she'll need time to recover and get re-motivated to write. But please, please, please, do finish it! She is a great writer, and as she said, Edward's story deserves to be told. I will wait for as long as it takes, just as long as I know she WILL release it!

    Comments: Dear Stephanie, I hope that this petition finds you so that you know how loyal and dedicatd your fans really are. I respect your creative decision to put the project on hold, and I hold no grudges or ill wishes towards you. I only hope that you can one day find the peace you need to finish telling Edward's story - not for us - but for yourself. Because I know that you love him more than all your fans combined (and we REALLY love him!). And yes, even though the story has been tained, we love YOU and we will of course support your project if you ever decided to finish it. I also wanted to let you know that I have been crying on and off consistently since I heard the news. I say this not to make you feel guilty, but to let you know that, as a fan, I am grieving with you. I can't imagine the pain of your betrayal, but I want you to know that we feel it too. We feel betrayed by the leaker just as you do. We are all in mourning with you. We love you Steph.

But please know that all your loyal fans love you and most of us have NOT read the leak and we hope you find the strength to finish Edward's story. Because we know that you love Edward more then us, we hope you'll find a way to finish his story. Be strong, don't let one person make you feel this bad. They are just not worth it.
