| 18260 | Allie Lacey | Stephanie, there is good and bad everywhere in the world. People who you think you can trust, who turn around and abuse your trust. I am sorry this has happened to you. I have never read the start of Midnight Sun. I will never read the unofficial version either.
Unfortunately you are not the first to experience deception and piracy in the world. It is common in the computer game world, music industry and movie industry. With novels you are little bit more protected then with the other forms of media. There is something just so nice curling up with a book in your hand, which I think, will never be replaced. So take heart that your industry is better naturally protected then other forms of media.
But I think you owe it to your fans to publish a 5th Twilight saga. It may be Midnight Sun; it may a totally different tangent. I trust you; trust your choice to use your characters any way you want. But your fans I feel are great fans; they deserve to be entertained by your writing. Your writing is entertaining; it is a special gift, which was meant to be shared. You owe it to your fans and family to share the gift.
I appreciate the work you have put into your novels, I can see the research you have made, the painstakingly efforts to make the novels flow through seamlessly through from each other. The ways the characters interact together, the way the characters come to life, the way the story unfolds and the suspense it creates and holds. Perhaps can I rephrase that; maybe I do not appreciate enough the effort you have really put in. I am not a gifted writer and cannot really appreciate what is involved to write a single novel let along a saga of 4. I guess there are a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved. But the novels work together geniusly, I believe you have it in you do continue the saga. Perhaps you feel intense pressure that you do not want to produce a fifth novel that will not meet your or your reader’s standards. I think you underappreciated your ability. You under appreciate the loyalty of your fans and the love of your work. Do not ever underestimate your abilities.
Please take the time to consider this message and all the other petitions made for you to write a fifth novel. We love you, we would do nothing to hurt you, and we appreciate your effort and admire your work. Please, please see it in your heart to leave your options open in the future. Do not have a close mind about further Twilight works. If you do not have time in the near future to complete a fifth book, that is ok. Do not stress yourself, but please let your fans mind lay at rest and just announce that a 5th saga will be available in the future.
I thank-you for taking the time to read this message. I thank you for the four novels you have written and I have proudly bought and are the highlight of my bookcase. I am a 39-year-old male from Australia. I adore the Twilight series. I thank-you for putting so many smiles on my face and tears in my eyes. Your Twilight saga has truly touched my heart!
Take care,
Allie. |
