4 AnonymousI'm not going to lie, I did download the first 12 chapters but I did NOT read them! It felt too much like betrayal. And after reading Stephenie's post I deleted them. I really hope that she continues with Midnight Sun! Sorry Stephenie!

7 Jessica RStephanie, I'm SO sorry this happened. I for one did not read it, I thought it was terrible that it was leaked on the internet. I know you feel so betrayed and hurt, I don't blame you. It was YOUR story.. but please, I would give anything if you just wrote the rest of it. I know that all of your fans would still love to read it if you gave us the chance. We will all respect your wishes, I'm just wishing now that you would let us read the book and give us all a chance to end the Twilight Saga.

You have to understand our sides of the story when we say your books complete our lives and without our fix we have terrible withdrawl! Looking at it was the equivalent of a alcoholic filled with a room of beer, wine and liquor. It was impossible to resist. And that is a compliment =) Midnight Sun is without a doubt AMAZING, Stephh!!! You NEED to finish it, at least for yourself! I hope you feel better and I hope you put your faith back in the twilight community. We all love you!

Especially when Edward started up his stalker tendencies. I'm sorry that you enjoy behaving like a hurt lamb, and I feel bad that reality hasn't hit you hard enough yet for you to realize that you're not the center of the universe and not everyone is going to kiss your feet like the rabid fans do. I'm sorry that I hated your previous books, and I'm sorry that your last one was so horrible that you lost a large chunk of your fanbase. I'm sorry that even now, you're still now behaving like a grown woman. There, there SMeyer, it'll be okay. Go to bed, dream of Edward, and forget all about this cruel, cruel place we call "reality".

I am terribly sorry that your hard work has had the virtue taken from it. It is almost like the burning of a book. Of course not! We fans have more than fallen in love with Edward Cullen -I'm sure you know that- and we would be, more than grateful, for the book to be published. It was such an excellent idea of yours to have Twilight in Edward's POV from the start— and didn't you say that you liked to write books, novels, for yourself? You're STEPHENIE MEYER! :) We will still read Midnight Sun no matter how many clumsy leaks [that are out of your hands, btw] there are out there, there will be a good batch of loyal fans out to their local bookstores at midnight, awaiting their copy with ecstasy. I'm not going to read the leak, because I personally deeply appreciate all of the work that you have put into the Twilight series, and I believe that the book should be read when you, the author, are ready for us, the DEVOTED fans, to read it! To be honest, the Twilight series, as well as your other AMAZING bestseller, Host, have opened up a new appreciation of fiction and literature in general for me. I am a college student, and your work as an author has truly inspired me to the extent that I am considering minoring in English Literature. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your dedication to your fans, and please, please, PLEASE, Stephanie, publish the book!! The true fans will love it either way. :]

I think all the fans understand that you need some time off to just relax after such a busy year, but we would love for you to continue with Midnight Sun. Hopefully you will get over the feeling of betrayal and finish writing Edward's version. Sorry again.

We are so sorry that one person made a terrible mistake. My friends and I are NOT reading the leaked version of the book. The only thing I have read is the first chapter YOU provided on your website.
