Name: David Gilbreath on Apr 6, 2007Comments: selling of the MARK TWAIN FOREST is a big mistake, hunting and hiking trails are disappering at an alarming rate. animals are being forced out of the woods and onto roads or highways. this not only puts the animals but also people in great danger and even death of each. all we ever hear about is we need money for schools, ect. none of this money ever seems to go for what the gov. say that they are going to do with it anyway. we need to leave something behind for our children and their familys. if you want money for gov. progams and schools use the money you already have from all the other crap you said that you would use it for. example the lottery money. maybe its time to take a pay cut for high ranking officals that don't do anything anyway. just a thought!!Flag

Name: Nancy Harding on Jul 31, 2007Comments: Missouri's natural resources are dwindling at an appalling rate. Many of the areas our family enjoyed over the years are gone - either closed down due to mismanagement or now private resorts for the wealthy. I'd gladly pay more in taxes to keep our natural heritage alive than to see yet another gated community or God forbid, shopping area.Flag
