| 452 | Charles Simmons | DC Mayor and DC government:
Don't evict Market 5 from Eastern Market! |
| 453 | yvonne rudman | every time i come to washington dc from montana i visit the market; i buy goods, eat, and enjoy the art. closing this market would be a national disgrace. the eyes of the nation are upon you- do the right thing. |
| 454 | Michelle Yu | please save the market 5 gallery! |
| 455 | thomasina hunter | It would be a shame to loose this type of venue were people could freely exhibit and sell their items and crafts. I look forward to Saturdays and going down to the Market.... checking out all of the new items that are on display....its like going on a treasure hunt.... Yes...it would difinitely be ashame to close or change this wonderful DC landmark. |
| 456 | Anonymous | SAVE Market 5! This is an abuse of power in the worst way by the DC government. As a resident inside the Beltway, I'm appalled that DC would refuse to allow artists into their place of business. |

| 491 | Tammy Leach | Save the Market 5! |
| 492 | Charlene | As a historic part of the city, I am ashamed of the people who dare remove what arts we have left.
Was it not enough to ruin Chinatown? Imagine my horror at finally moving to a city with a decent Chinatown only to find American fast food restaurants and maybe 1 or 2 traditional bakeries.
I have found solace in the open market; the peace you intend to destroy. |
