Anonymous | I have lived in Mt. Arlington nearly my whole life. I've had my run ins with the law and Mt. Arlington Police has always treated me with respect and dignity, unlike other police stations in the area. Not to get that confused with MAPD not doing there job cause they did and I payed the price. Such officers like Reggie Goode, Keith Licata, And Jimmy give Mt. Arlington such A good name. Dismantling Our Mt. Arlington Police dept will be a discredit to Our wonderful town of MT. Arlington.
Paul Kilduff | My parents reside in Mt. Arlington and I support the F.O.P.

taylor | Lets also save the town the $$$ of the "Not" needed study for a service that is "Much" needed by our youth, seniors, business owners...the whole community.

Anonymous | Mt. Arlington police are the best part of our town.
Lorrie Knight | Please don't dissolve the police department, i think it would be a big mistake. They are much needed in this town.
MONICA DEL ROSARIO |
Jill R. Church | 42k of taxpayers money for a study? I sincerely would like to know how you justify this? Have you considered merging Mount Arlington with Jefferson? Of course not, then we would not need a mayor either,.
Rose Hemming | I don't know how anyone could possibly think Mt. Arlington could do without our police dept. a few months back I had to call them for my husband, the response time was remarkable and if it had not been for the officers that arrived at my home along with our volunteer first aide squad my husband would not be alive today. my husband has been oxygen dependent for years and he was not able to breath. The officers stayed with me and made sure i understood everything that was going on, one officer was still with me when st slaires mobile intensive care finally arrived. I can not thank them enough, how do you thank someone for saving the most important person in your life. WE NEED THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa A. Santoro | I am a 9-year resident and greatly appreciate our police department. Please don't outsource the valuable service they provide.
Anonymous | Outsourcing our police dept. will probably cost the residents more money - and a slower response time - Roxbury or Jefferson will have to increase their force and that cost will be passed on to us.

Laura Rosario | this is obsurd that you would even think of disbanding the police department.

Kathy Capwell | Dismantling the police department of a growing community makes no sense at all; it would slow response time and overburden neighboring towns. Also, officers like Reggie Goode show that there are great police officers out there and we definately need them!!
Scott Capwell |
Marianne Smith | I've lived in Mt. Arlington for my entire life, and the MAPD have always been right there when I needed them. When I was home alone, and my grandmother took ill, they were there before I could even think about being scared, taking care of her before the EMTs could arrive. Do you seriously want to take away that kind of dedication and loyalty to our citizens? The MAPD keep our town, our streets, our residents safe. Outsourcing our police department is not only a foolish decision, it's just downright stupid.
Gayle Ann Livecchia | Such an action an only result in a decrease of services.
K. McCollum |
Gerilynn Fox |
Lisa Zamorski | I have been a resident of Mt. Arlington for 9 years. I have always felt safe and secure in this community because of them. The officers are always pleasant and personable and we know them by name. We need them to stay here in Mt. Arlington and continue their hard work and dedication that they give to this community. They are priceless and worth every penny.
Eric Fowler |
Gale W. Sherburne |
Crystal Kelly |
Daniel Taylor | i love them their great guys we need them
Joseph Juzwin | The Mount Arlington Police Department is one of the finest in the area. I have required their emergency services in the past, fearing my mother was having a heart attack. MTA Police responded in two minutes with a full EMT kit and quickly controlled the situation. No other department watching over our town could beat that repsonse time. I feel safe living under the protection of the Mount Arlington Police Department, and as a Mount Arlington resident and voter I feel that to disband the department would be a terrible mistake on the part of the mayor and council.
