| 1001 | Anonymous | We need a police department of our own, not sharing a department with other towns. That will only make their workload increase putting all the neighboring towns at risk! |

| 1011 | Linda Hinger | Who came up with this crazy idea?
With the terror threat and the rising crime in our Mt. Arlington area, it's beyond me, that anyone should consider closing our POLICE DEPARTMENT. This should be the last service to go!
Do you think police departments in other areas are going to be as involved in their community with protecting us. I don't think. We need OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT

| 1014 | Anonymous | Sharing police with another town could be very dangerous and cause delays when a life and death situation arises. |
| 1015 | Carlos Irimia | I know how important it is to keep our police department in place. Merging the PD with another town, will only increase our taxes in the not to distant furture. In adition to losing control and public safety, We the resdients will be forced to pay whatever Roxbury charges Mount Arlington for the services they provide to our town. The thought that our taxes will be cheaper is not true. It is a smoke screen, it is window dressing. Mr. Mayor, you know that! Mount Arlington is a safe place to live and raise our families, let keep it that way. |

| 1042 | Kim Pierson | Roxbury is a very big town so to close Mt. Arlington's Police Station is a HUGE mistake. I feel safer knowing I can have an officer quick if I need one now. |
| 1043 | JOHN CALDI | GOOD LUCK |
| 1044 | Nancy A Norman | Please don't get rid of the police department. WIth the over whelming support of the police department it is your sworn duty to uphold the wishes of the community. |
| 1045 | Steve Holzmann | Regionalized services do no good for anyone. Both municipalities would be hurt by this poor idea. |
| 1046 | Spina | You get what you pay for. Look at what happened when the town of Rockleigh hired the Bergen County Police to protect them. |
| 1047 | Evgeny Lavrentiev | I have received a great help from one of MA police officers when I was in trouble near M. Arlington traveling to NY. Keep MA police department in place! |
| 1048 | Bill McCann | Getting rid of the PD will only hurt the tax payers of this community. |
| 1049 | Allison Pavlosky | You need to keep a sense of pride in your community. By outsourcing our police force we are saying that the safety of our town isn't important when in reality, by taking away the Mt. Arlington Police, we will be weakening our community unity. |
