Matthew Selems | I think that what the town council is doing is completely wrong. If they are looking to save money for the town, they should research and come up with alternative ideas. They should hire SLEOII certified officers who work partime hours to cut out the cost of a salary instead they get paid by the hour. This also cuts back on benifits that the town would usually have to pay for if they hired a full-time officer. These officers can work half of a shift with a regular full-time officer. That way there will not be any safety issues.
Susan Poggio | I live in Lake Hopatcong and I don't like the idea of losing any police coverage in this area.
Chris Kvarnlov | Tell me why Mayor you and the council believe it is a good idea to put the residents of Mt Arlington at risk.
Stacy Kvarnlov | Mayor and Council, such a bad idea.

Joe Sferruzza | As president of FOP Lodge # 181, I oppose the move to eliminate the MAPD, the Officers perform one of the most valued services a township could provide and maintenance of this high quality service is a not to be sacraficed becuase it is politically correct to talk merger or disbandment.

Nancy Reeves | It would be a terrible mistake to combine the MAPD with another township.
Anonymous | I hope that the Mt. Arlington Police Department remains intact; I also hope that it is expanded to meet the needs of the growing community that it so proudly serves. Thank you.
