| 718 | Jammy Straub | As a bicyclist who uses the Major Taylor Velodrome, it would sadden me to see the skate park closed. I enjoy and appreciate the diversity it brings to the park. The recreational activity it provides to the people who use the skate park is priceless. It keeps them off the street and gives them a place to practice their sport. To see it go would be a travesty and a major blow to the underground sporting culture in Indianapolis. |

| 744 | Kirk Wheeler | I support the skatepark/BMX track/Velodrome complex because it gets people outdoors enjoying a hobby and gaining physical and mental wellness. I would think that the Park service should be promoting these ideals instead of trying to broker a deal with Marion College. The State of Indiana needs to step up and be the leader showing the public what can be done with the park instead of why it is a financial burden. |
