    Comments: Give her a new trial, her lawyer was useless, and should be barred. According to what I have read the whole position is flawed. Texas law is lynch mob rules. Is nobody in the USA trying to help, the politicians would soon change their minds if enough Texans got behind an appeal. There is a lot to admire about the USA, but not their justice system, she deserves an appeal, to bring out what actually happened and decide the extent of her guilt if any.

    Comments: It's not for me to say whether this woman is innocent or guilty, but it seems clear that she didn't get an adequate defence at trial. I don't believe in capital punishment at all, but putting that aside it's obvious that in these circumstances the US courts risk a massive miscarriage of justice by carrying out this sentence.
