Comments: This case is criminal in its self. Everyone deserves a fair trial. How can you send someone to death on the trial she received.

Comments: I remember doing an essay against Capital Punishment, at school, back in 1988, and Clive Stafford Smith was a real inspiration. I have just watched the documentary on 4OD, and would like to praise you for your tenacious fight against the injustices in this world. These people need a voice, and your achievements are remarkable. Praying for Linda.

Comments: I have never been in agreement with capital punishment and cases like Linda's are the reason why. After an unfair trial with a pathetic lawyer, it's no surprise that she is facing the death penalty. Whether guilty or not, this woman has dealt with an abundance of problems during her life which should have been taken into consideration at her trial. The circumstantial evidence against her is weak, there is no way to know whether she is guilty, and without certainty, the state of Texas risk executing an innocent woman. Let her live, spare her life and give hope to the next generation that justice does still exist.

Comments: She was not given a fair trial or competent representation. That is a fact that should be considered before guilt or innocence. The British gov't was not made aware of the trial which is not only custom practice but is mandated by treaty. Had her gov't been notified she would have gotten the proper counsel and most probably found not guilty. Hasn't the state of TX imprisoned and even executed enough innocent people? This is ridiculous. I pray she is finally given a new trial and allowed to enjoy the rights afforded her and every other person in this country, on this planet. The scariest part of all is this could happen to anybody. This society needs to wake up and stand up for what is right and stop allowing the state to do whatever it wants to whomever they want for any reason.
