NHS Lothian are considering the closure of Liberton Hospital. This group is to bring together residents of south Edinburgh and beyond to help campaign to keep our local hospital open. With the older population of Edinburgh and the Lothians set to increase dramatically over the next few years, the decision to close this hospital which has a focus on rehabilitation and the elderly is short-sighted. This petition is to send a clear voice to NHS Lothian that we don't want our local hospital which cares for some of our most frail and vulnerable to be closed.
