Hello , I have just read the saddest news today. A lovely pet pit bull has been taken from its home in Scotland by police to be killed just because it is a pit bull ! The owner bought him as a puppy , unaware he would grow into a pitbull. However he has proved to be a fantastic , loyal , trustworthy pet. It is not his fault. THIS POOR ANIMAL HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG. The pet is loyal , caring , trained , liked and well known and taken care of and trained well by his owner. The pet is always on a leash and muzzled for precaution ( not because he is dangerous ) Surely if the owner has proved the dog is trained and well kept and and he respects the public by leashing him and muzzling him this is more than enough to prove he is a good owner. You must have seen Ceaser Millan s programme The dog whisperer He has saved many , many pit bulls from a terrible life and not one of them has attacked human. IT IS NOT THE DOG IT IS THE OWNER. Please I am begging all animal lovers , please sign this petition and do not let this lovely animal who has done nothing wrong be euthenised. This is cruel , immoral , and just deeply deeply saddening. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN. So many pit bulls are abused every day by being made to fight or tortured , please help this breed and help us prove they are terrific animals. THESE DOGS DESERVE SOME COMPASSION AND HELP NOT EVERY ONE IS BAD , IT IS THE WAY THEY ARE BROUGHT UP. WE ONLY HAVE UNTIL 8TH NOVEMBER 2009 TO GET AS MANY SIGNATURES AS POSSIBLE.
