Comments: Langworth Post Office is at the heart of our village; without it the village would have no heart. It is essential for small businesses and a lifeline for the elderly. Lets hope someone sees sense and it can keep open 24 / 7.

Comments: I use Langworth Post Office on a daily basis. I live in Legsby which is half way between Market Rasen and Langworth. I have to travel to Lincoln on a regular basis and the journey takes me past Langworth Post Office, so from that point of view it is a convenient location. If Langworth closes I shall have to use Market Rasen which will add an extra 10 miles to my daily journey. Langworth is a very efficient post office. Deliveries are reliable and prompt. I send a lot of parcels which are fragile in nature. I have never had a breakage when sending from Langworth. Whenever I have used Market Rasen the breakages have been 70 percent and rarely as quickly delivered as items sent from Langworth. Apart from that the postmaster is friendly and helpful and one feels one is welcome, unlike mardy, miserable Market Rasen where the job gives the impression of being a chore. The local community needs Langworth Post Office.

Comments: The present government is forcing more traffic onto our already crowded roads by killing of rural communities, its alright for those who live in the cities but village way of life is being slowly wiped out.Gorden Brown should come here and see our community spirit and see what makes Great Britain the proud nation we are

Comments: All this is the Government's fault for deliberately taking work away from rural Post Offices so that it can then say they're unprofitable and close them down. They say they want to protect villages and the countryside, but as always they're lying through their teeth.

Comments: Please keep Langworth Post Office open otherwise my sister won't be able to post my birthday presents! On a serious note closing the Post Office would make life more miserable for many people, it's the little things in life which make us happy and receiving something unexpected in the post from friends or family is one of those little things which makes a day a happier one. Who can afford to go on 4 bus journeys to the next nearest post office for an unimportant thing like that

Comments: Why should rural communities who only have a few facilities to start with be the ones to suffer With poor bus services the government are trying to kill our villages by taking their lifelines away.

Comments: What an absolute disgrace. The rural post office provides an invaluable and unique service to the community. Ours is a busy post office with a great deal of passing trade in addition to being well supported by the local population. Without the post office, the convenience store within which it is contained will not be viable and will no doubt struggle on for a while, then close too. The Post Office is right. It *IS* the heart of the community. We shouldnt have to plead not to have our heart ripped out.

Comments: Absolute disgrace perhaps the govt would like to fund the ridiculous amounts it is going to cost to travel further afield plus the waste of ones time, by the time one has caught 4 buses it will take a whole day to get to and from the Post Office.
