Name: Debra Rolfe on Jul 8, 2011Comments: I grew up in the Bay Area, and have fond memories of listening to KUSF's programming. I am appalled by the increasing tendency in the United States to dismantle and sell off anything that is for the public good. This is wrong and will have devastating effects. It is particularly disturbing that KUSF, in the Bay Area of all places, could become an example of the impacts of short-sighted greed and ideology on public life, and ultimately on free speech.Flag

Name: Rebecca Gordon on Jul 29, 2011Comments: I lived in San Francisco for almost a decade before moving away. I listened to KUSF for most of that time. The station provides an invaluable resource for the community in that it allows for music and voices not heard on corporate owned channels. KUSF provides a rich cultural value to the city and it should be preserved as any museum would be.Flag

Name: Michael Levy on Mar 23, 2012Comments: Kusf was the only broadcast FM radio station I listened to at home. It was a service to the neighborhood with local information and the broadcasts were nothing like the typical music and commercials on nearly EVERY OTHER FM frequency I live in range of. I never would have thought that I would, but I especially miss the unique music and wonderful DJs during the day. PLEASE bring KUSF back to FM Broadcast. Thank you.Flag
