Comments: Independent, non-corporate-owned radio is simply a step in the right direction. The more we sell our independence and creativity to big conglomerates, the more America loses its spirit. Integrity should always rule over the dollar.

Comments: There are three notable college stations in the Bay Area, all distinct and valuable: KUSF, KALX, and KFJC. With the myriad of commercial stations that play according to any but what the community values, the loss of even one of these stations to another commercial clone is a very significant blow to community representation on the airwaves, particularly concerning issues of editorial news, public opinion airing, and a landmark forum for local musicians of all stripes.

Comments: please don't take kusf from us. i have been a loyal supporter of kusf since my move to san francisco 12 years ago, and before that the college radio stations of the peninsula and the south bay, i.e. kzsu, kfjc, kscu. I cannot and will not listen to commercial radio, nor will i be confined to only listening to online satellite radio. my job requires me to drive and i only listen to kusf. i wept when i learned that the sudden fuzz that i heard while tuned into kusf were the final gasps of kusf's breath.

Comments: KUSF has been a huge part of our local community. From being the quintessential local music calendar to expanding the boundaries of what can be heard on broadcast radio, KUSF needs to continue to be part of San Francisco. If KUSF goes away then we all lose!

Comments: KUSF is a pillar of the local community and provides an outlet to under-served communities, as well as being a cornerstone of the local independent music and arts scenes here in SF. We need this station to continue to provide the unique services and information--as well as entertainment--that it has been doing for well over 3 decades.

Comments: It is very important to keep a local college run station, for the diversity that it brings. One by one this is happening so that public owned stations are being sold off to some bland generic for profit garbage station probably owned by some monstrous parent Co We need that like a hole in the head. Don't do it.

Comments: Sorry, but the radio waves are filled with cr__, and stations willing to play experimental/world/uncommon music disappear because of "fuzzy logic" related to advertising. TV and radio are a Publtic Trust -- and all pints of view -- political -- aestethsic -- artistic --need to be heard. Not just money money money ...
