THE New PETITION: Title: Do not Cancel Kitani Mohabbat Hai or we will Cancel NDTV: There are articles making the rounds that Kitani Mohobbat Hai will be scraped off due to low TRPs at the end of September/ early October 2009. The fact is KMH's contract with NDTV expires in October. And it appears there are other shows that the Production House (like Fashion) and the Channel (Basera, Meera, as well as newer shows) want to focus on. So, there is TRUTH to these articles and a strong possibility KMH will end if the viewers do not ACT fast. What the Channel and Production House fail to appreciate is that KMH has been registering consistent TRPs for the past month. It has always been part of the top 5 shows of NDTV Imagine and always featured in the 100 top serials. Moreover the show recently picked up Close UP Sponsorship. KMH has a huge fan following and the lead jodi of Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra have got phenomenal popularity in a very short time. They have even received the best jodi award in NTA award function and Karan Kundra has also received most promising star of the year.KMH has also managed to get close up sponsorship.The reason for low trps is the fact that the online viewership of kmh is not taken into account.Ndtv Imagine does not come in many places and kmh being a show watched globally people have no other choice but to watch it on you tube. If one considers the views each episode gets its more than or equal to all the big soaps of the other channels.After repeatedly complaining about this to Ndtv Imagine they are not bothering to monitor online viewership. Kitani Mohabbat Hai is a story for youth and it does pretty well compared to shows of the same genre in other channels like star one and star plus (like DMG and MJHT). The show is now at a very interesting juncture and it will be terrible if it is scrapped or ended abruptly at such a crucial stage (the story has immense potential post-jail). Please do not cancel the show or its loyal viewers (us) will cancel our viewership of NDTV Imagine. As it is Balaji's brand name has a difficult time attracting youth audiences. If KMH is cancelled now then Balaji Telefilms will forever lose the youth audience it has garnered with KMH particularly ending is bad or untimely.
