Thanks to the 1000+ people who are standing with Brett & Scott. Much has been said over the past week, some of which I'm sure that ABC would give anything to take back. Could ABC realize its mistake and take KISH back? Would Brett and Scott even consider going back, espcially after the way they have been treated and the truly classless way Scott had to find out that he was being let go? Let's find out the week after their last air date, which is supposedly April 24th. Let's see the ratings post-Kish.Those blogs who support Daytime Drama have been unanimous in their outrage over the firings of Brett and Scott. There is an energized fan base on Twitter. Events are being planned. Even if Brett and Scott are never invited to come back to the show, the fans will have their say. Mr. Frons, with a few exceptions, I have
watched One Life to Live since its inception. While every TV show has
its peaks and valleys, I have been a loyal fan and have supported it
through my viewing. I have been patient when the show takes some turns
I would rather not see it take.
The gay storyline with "Oliver" and "Kyle", played with honesty and
integrity by Scott Evans and Brett Claywell is not one of those wrong
turns. Was there overkill with everything converging on a big gay
wedding ceremony? Yes, but not with Scott and Brett. The whole subplot
with Dorian running for mayor and masquerading as a lesbian to get
votes, and the subplot with Nick and Amelia forcing Dorian to make gay
marriage legal in Llanview were unnecessary and over-the-top
