Comments: I think it would be an utter disgrace to close this station which provides fast professional cover not only for Kirton but also surrounding villages.

Comments: As a result of the increased delays in attendance and intervention of fire crews, not only will the lives of the families and residents of Kirton, their properties, businesses and livelihoods be exposed to significantly increased levels of risk and harm. But also, the viable delivery and effectiveness of damage control measures are questionable, for any property that will be fully engulfed in fire after 30 minutes. How will the Fire and Local Authorities counterbalance and exercise their corporate responsibilities and duties of due care and attention to protect the lives and properties of the affected communities from such a reduced level of fire cover

Comments: I don't live in lincolnshire any more but when I was at school there, I remember the level of respect for the people at Kirton Fire Service. They are an integral part of community life in Kirton Lindsey. Sounds like yet another crazy cost cutting scheme from a failing government, that will endanger lives and reduce the standard of service that people of this country should expect.

Comments: What is more important people's lives or money. Money can't replace people who die in fire's or other emergencies. The people who crew stations these give up as much time as they can and this is how they are re-paid. Keep the stations OPEN before it is to late

Comments: i was in the fireservice for 3 years and was part of D6 kirton lindsey fire station,so i no first hand it is a very bad idea to close the station, due to the vast area wich,D6 cover and without the station and the firefighters,it could be a very dangerous move.
