Name: Michelle Martinez on Jul 26, 2010Comments: There are a few local venues that are near and dear to the hearts of their patrons. Jelly's is one of them, especially since this is a venue that supports live music, particularly salsa music, which supports many local San Franciscan musicians and their families!Flag

Name: Rowan Hernandez on Jul 26, 2010Comments: Jelly's has always been about good music and bringing people together. It is a little place with Soul. Jelly's should not be closed down for this isolated incident. I am sure Jelly's will make the necessary adjustments to Security and screening of events to make it a safe place once again. Save this institution of Salsa!Flag

I have been going there for the last five years and consider it to be one of the safest places I frequent in San Francisco!Flag

Name: Frankie Palacios on Jul 26, 2010Comments: I support Jellys cause until the day this happened, Jellys was never given a bad wrap like this, and I've been going there for over 12 years as a Patron and a Performer. I think this incident is being linked to Jellys by mistake, the fact is that there are other Dance Clubs in the area and the People involved in this incident may have been at one of them and just stop by Jellys because they saw the crowd that was leaving Jellys. I was there 'til the end of the night that day and I did not see anyone having problems with someone to the extent of this incident at all. Please do not close down one of the most unique and diverse Social Places in the entire Northern California.Flag

Name: Paloma Sales on Jul 26, 2010Comments: I've been a patron of Jelly's since before the ballpark. I stop in for a drink before Giants games, I frequently attend Club Havana on Sundays and I have even rented out the place for family parties. I have also made Jelly's a must-see destination for my out-of-town guests. This is a wholesome, family-friendly establishment that means so much to so many in the San Francisco community. If Jelly's closes, the community loses.Flag

Name: Sheigla Averill on Jul 26, 2010Comments: I have been going to Jelly's for years, and I have never once felt my safety threatened there. The media is making Jelly's out to be some sort of magnet for violence, but it is no such thing. This was an isolated and unfortunate incident. Please don't take away this great part of our community!Flag

Name: Robert Kowal on Jul 26, 2010Comments: I strongly support Jelly's in their fight against this misguided eviction. Violence that happens in and around the city of San Francisco is not the fault of the businesses that serve the city, but rather the miscreants who perpetrate. This is a POLICE issue, NOT a club issue.Flag
