Gayle Thomas JUne | How can we call KC a Jazz Mecca when you can't find jazz playing on the radio? Get it together, KKFI!

Kathy Swartz | As a loyal KKFI listener, I'm saddened that we need this petition. We're Kansas City..... known for Jazz! How is it that our local program needs the pleas of our city's Jazz musicans to save jazz here? KKFI is responsible to her listeners... please pay attention.

| 164 | Joe Carter | In the overall scheme of things, one hour might not seem like a lot, but these days it's more important than ever to maintain as much quality music as possible, For a city such as Kansas City, which was a hotbed for the development of this strictly American art form, it's imperative that it have AT LEAST 12 hours of Jazz per week.

DeAndre' Manning | I just realized that the format had changed just yesterday....considering jazz music was labeled an 'american treasure' and the only 'original american artform' than it would only be right for KKFI to give listeners a full 3 hrs. of great music 4 days out of the week....should be 24.7....7 days of week

Charles Williams | Yes we need much jazz in this city. Why must it die? We are a jazz icon city but radio here doesnt really prove it. I support jazz at KKFI and have noticed the slow cut back of jazz programs. I have played in this city for over 40years now and jazz benefits our kids. I get so disturbed when I go to other major cities and they have 24hour jazz statins and all we have is less that 10 hours a week worth of jazz. Jazz needs to be pushed in this city.
Tim McCuiston | I am signing this petition not only for KKFI, but i am signing this petition to bring back all jazz music back to Kansas Ciuty including Smooth Jazz format.
Anthony Reyes | Please return Jazz music to original 12-3pm format.
Kurt Junger |

David Conrads | I'm a listener and contributor to KKFI. I completely respect the station's need to tailor its programing to a wide variety of interests. I love the jazz shows on KKFI. I listen to them all the time. In fact, that's pretty much all I listen to on KKFI. I hate to see their time allotment shortened.
