| 53 | roger pitts | I'd like you to continue playing jazz |
| 54 | Greg Jacobs | I look forward to hearing more Jazz from kkfi, I also like the rockabilly a lot and the blues! |
| 55 | Aine Kelly-Brown | Please continue the 12-3 format. |
| 56 | Brian | If anything we need to have MORE jazz on the radio. Kansas City with its rich jazz history has no radio stations that are dedicated to jazz. St. Louis has 4! |

| 58 | Stephanie Laws | Jazz is a vital part of Kansas City culture. Please reinstate the Jazz programming on KKFI! |
| 59 | Dr. Jim Martincic, D.M.A. | As a college music professor, trumpeter and jazz lover - we must continue to have access to jazz music as it part of the fiber that is America! Jazz is American music . How can we just throw it away. It must be preserved and honored. |
| 60 | Kenric Smith | |
| 61 | Skoot Larson, M.A. | There is too much "empty air" radio out there. Jazz is true American art-music, and needs to be heard MUCH MORE, not less! Please keep it as a solid part of your format. |
| 62 | Sharita Cole | Jazz is Kansas City! |
| 63 | William Paprota | Jazz radio must be saved in KC!! |
| 64 | Jon Bauer | |
| 65 | James Ward | Lets save jazz |
| 66 | Dean Hampton | For every one of us who signs, there are at least 100 who meant to but didn't (and will probably reduce their support for the station as well). |
| 67 | Jenny Perlingiero | |
| 68 | Glennda Hill | Thank you for returning back to 12-3 pm jazz!! |

| 70 | Anonymous | This is the mecca for Jazz. Let's keep that one hour on KKFI , return to the origionlal format and play Jazz 12:00-3:00 |
| 71 | Bram Wijnands | Please keep the 12-3pm programming. Since KCUR has deleted their entire jazz programming several years ago, we count on you to keep jazz music on the air. I have listened to and donated from time to time to KKFI since 1992 because I love your music programming, especially the jazz segments. My friends from Europe even commented on your quality jazz programming and donated before. Please keep it going. |
| 72 | Sharon Davis | |
| 73 | Sharon Rabius | Please return to the Jazz format of 3 hour programming. |
| 74 | Patrick McDonald | |
| 75 | Pam Hider Johnson | My husband's band played at the "Turn-On" for the Mid-Coast Radio Project that ultimately became KKFI Radio. The Elder Statesmen of KC Jazz depend on KKFI for jazz information and promoting their performances. Jazz and KKFI are 2-sides of the same coin. Keep Jazz on the air at 90.1 FM. |
| 76 | Barb James | Saw you space on MySpace....good luck...would love to add you as a friend....keep in touch. |
| 77 | Bree Plaster | |
| 78 | Joyce Johnson | |
| 79 | Elmer Berry | |
| 80 | Larry Stoler | The decision made by KKFI to reduce the hours of jazz from three to two hours a day, four days a week is a mistake.
Non commercial radio was supposed to be a place where music and points of view that were not believed to be commercially viable were given an opportunity to be heard. Ratings or how much a listener contributes financially should not be the determining factor in program decisions.
Please keep jazz on KKFI three hours a day. Thank you. |
| 81 | Carolyn Spears | |
| 82 | Eileen Kubayko | Kansas City needs more jazz! |
| 83 | matt bond | Please keep the extended jazz programming |

| 85 | Robert Shumate | Please Jazz programming to the previous 3 hour
slot, Monday-Thursday.
Thanks You,
Bob Shumate. |
| 86 | Janet Olin | Talking heads are on every tv and radio station 24/7.
KKFI brings Kansas City its only reliable jazz and blues shows, continuing the city's rich musical heritage. Please return our programs to us. |

| 88 | Anonymous | We love listening to jazz!! |
| 89 | Shannon McNeely | Please bring back the previous jazz format. It was a reliable infusion of joy for one whose debilitating pain has leached away so much... I may not have deep pockets but I do so appreciate the jazz and blues you do play. |
| 90 | Karl Hayes | 1 of only a few sources of jazz on-air in KC. Please keep it going! |
| 91 | Jeff Welch | |
| 92 | Larry Roth | |
| 93 | SANDRA AND MICHAEL ROSE | WE LOOK FORWARD TO COMING TO KC EACH AND EVERY SUMMER TO OUR HOME IN KC AND TO LISTEN TO KKFI JAZZ PROGRAMMING. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ONE MINUTE OF IT FROM THE AIR! THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE SWINGIN' BIG BANDS BEGAN AND WE OWE IT TO ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS TO PERPETUATE THE GREATEST MUSIC AMERICA HAS EVER KNOWN. |

| 96 | Anonymous | more jazz and blues and old rock and roll and less talk! i am disappointed in the new direction! stormin norman at 6 am? he was better at 10. long time supporter but not now-never got 2 jazz tickets promised and now less music! |
| 97 | Carol V Young | We have many visitors from east/west coast - I am embarrassed by the lack of good jazz/classical music on our airwaves. My husband & I appreciate good music - and KC has none! (except for public radio - and now that is leaving us too). Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion!!!! |
| 98 | Ron McMillan | Jazz is a natural asset for this struggling town that now must make herself known. The New Kansas City with 4.5 billion downtown investment must step up to the plate and honor/promote the music she gave to the world. |
| 99 | Paula and Phillip Melton | Kansas City must provide a good jazz station! It's embarrassing for Kansas City to tout
its jazz roots without then backing it up with a station that carries the music. Frankly, what we really need is a station totally dedicated to easy listening and jazz.. We just retired at sixty and moved back to Kansas City and were really disappointed and shocked to learn that this city
that so many other wonderful attractions and venues, doesn't have a easy listening or jazz station. Play it and we will come!!!!!! |
