| 66054 | Aaron Frater | | 01 | HELPS !! | Internet radio must be saved; as it increases the coverage of non-mainstream bands that do not have the backing of multi million dollar music companies, that pay the mainstream traditional radio broadcster money for every play of their song. Smaller music companies and unsigned bands simply cannot compete with this huge financial scale.. so internet radio must be kept alive if variety and freedom within musical expression is something we want in this new world of ours !! ... the alternative is simply, that nothing new, nothing but mass market ideas will ever be heard, the little guy will cease to exist, and money will once again tighten its grip on the world; as freedom of speech will exchange hands with million dollar contracts... a sad world indeed !! | |

| 66077 | Alexander Jackson | 33563 | 02 | The existence of internet radio helps to advertise for the music industry in a way witch they do not.
Internet radio broadcasts music to every corner of the world and allows people from any country to here what they want, This means that record sales increase and people get more enjoyment out of there music.
Without internet radio i would not know about most of the artists that i listen to now and i would not be contributing by buying there albums. | Internet radio will not be silenced. |

| 66090 | Anonymous | 85028 | 01 | I personally feel that the existence of internet radio can only help the music industry. In an age where technology reigns supreme more and more people are using their computers and ipods to listen to the types of music that they like instead of the music that is playing on a traditional radio station. Internet radio stations tend to play music that is genre specific instead of what is most popular at that time allowing listeners to listen to the music that they like most while opening them up to new music that they may not have been exposed to on a traditional radio station. Music listeners will buy the music they enjoy and I believe that internet radio helps listeners gain more access to the music that they enjoy. | Though I am signing this petition, I am of the belief that the music industry should receive payment for the usage of music. I personally feel that the amount the CRB is asking for for royalty payments is far too much. Most internet radio stations would collapse under the current royalty rate. | Pandora |

| 66096 | Robert Lugo | 90291 | 01 | I feel that Internet radio is a great asset to the music industry. Pandora is one of my primary sources for finding new music, and has significantly increased the rate at which I purchase new CDs or mp3s. Honestly, I cannot comprehend why Internet radio (which does not in anyway allow you to illegally download songs) would be a target for the music industry. It provides a great way for me and my friends to find new music, in a much more more personalized and effective manner than traditional radio stations. | | Pandora! |
