The proceeds from commercials only go to promote bogus "air (head) personalities" and corporate profits, both sponsors and broadcast companies.The programming structures of commercial broadcasting has actually ripped-off supposedly public airwaves from the public, and prempted the music property-rights of both artists and the music production industry. Remember back in the 60s and 70s when we longed for "pay TV" so we wouldn't have to endure the interminable commercials. Well, look at what we've got now...$75.00 a month, plus the commercials, and more than ever!! I'm only worried that netmusic, my favorite part of the internet will be prempted by the same greed driven, self-serving, interests which have hijacked TV and Radio. | |
