209 Sylvia(Wade) RobertsFLUSI grew up in Lower Indian Head Park and have enjoyed many years of recreation on the Perkiomen and the dam as did other generations of my family and many other friends and their families. It is devastatingly sad to me and many other family members to see the new businesses and housing areas being built all around Oaks and surrounding areas for so called "progress" that destroys the natural beauty and countryside of the area. Where were these people that wanted to preserve the naturalness when this was going on? They say, the dam is man made and they want to restore it back to its natural state but if you ask me, in the many years since it was constructed, it has become and is now in a natural state with nature. To destroy the dam would be destroying all of God's inhabitants that have made the Perkiomen waterways and the dam its home over the decades. Although I now live out of state, I still COME HOME to Lower Indian Head Park a few times each year to enjoy what I grew up with. I have years of pictures taken at the dam and surrounding area and will submit them as soon as I can. I will also see what I can do to submit petitions from people to save the dam, who have enjoyed growing up in the area as I did.

211 DianaPelosi (Wade)FLUSTo destroy the dam would be a very grave mistake. Indian Head Park serves as a natural habitat for many wild creatures, foxes, beavers, racoons, horned and night owls and one of which is the protected American Bald Eagle. Just for the sake of progress, some bad ideas a only a few people (trying to make them sound like a group of hundreds or thousands of people) are wrong and un-American, especially if it's another township in the county. Where will all the wild animals live afterwards? They're already seen in the residential areas as a result of all the previous "progress". Leave Indian Head Park and it's dam alone!

216 DannyCostanzaPAUSI am a whitewater kayaker who loves to practice at the base of the dam. The nearest wave of that caliber is at Scudders Falls in New Jersey, so I really don't want this dam destroyed. I'd love to help you guys out. Also, a lot of people from my kayak club used to make the drive out to New Jersey, but now that I have told them about this dam, they are likely to bring their boats and money to Collegeville, giving a nice boost to local restaurantes, gas stations, and etc.

218 TomHazeltonI ahve enjoyed numerous afternoons fishin along this stretch of the Perky in my Kayak and hope to do so with my children for years to come. Removing this dam would be a great loss for outdoor lovers in this community.

230 KathleenKellerUSThe developers have destroyed most of the once bucolic LP township. This is senseless as the creek is going through parkland and a few private residences, all of whom, I would wager, have signed this petition.

232 K. H.RyeskyNYUSI was born in, and grew up in, Montgomery County. The Perkiomen Creek supports many natural habitats and diverse species. Destruction of the Indian Dam would threaten not only the biologically diverse ecosystem, but also the areas of natural beauty.

245 williammorganUSAs a life long resident of Collegeville, I have countless memories of enjoying the perky and would hate to think of future generations being deprived of all it has to offer.
