54 Michael KeckPAUSRemoval of this damn would make the perkiomen creek inaccessable to boater's as well as fisher's. You can't fish dirt.
55 RussellWadePAUSSave it. What is the motivation for taking down the dam ?

59 RebeccaMacklen (Lendi)OHUSI grew up in Arcola, PA and the Indian Head dam and Perkiomen River were a huge part of our recreation and leisure activities. There has been enough build-up in that area. Please leave some nature for futures generations to enjoy.

64 jordanlattanziPAUSi love to fish!
65 KirbyFleischmanPAUSI Kayak and fish here on a regular basis. I have seen the Ospreys and Bald Eagle. It would be devastating to loose this resource so close to our homes.

67 DianeSauermelchPAUSMany families have made lifetime memories boating fishing and camping along the creek. Destroying the dam not only prevents future generations from enjoying the same thing, it will take away from the communities efforts to maintain open space and the natural environment that Upper Providence is know for.

69 DonnaMcGettiganPAUSGenerations of people have enjoyed swimming, fishing, as well as boating on the Perkiomen. It would be sad to see this lost to the area.

75 RichardWurzbachPAUSThere is little logic to the removal of this dam. Most of the typical arguments for dam removal do not apply to Indianhead Dam. It is in the public interest to maintain the ecology of this important watershed, and I firmly support this organization's goal to fight efforts to remove the dam.
76 RobertNeumanPAUSPlease save the Dam
77 SusanNeumanPAUSPls save the dam for my Grandchildren

79 ShelbyMarksPAUSI grew up on this creek and continue to visit it to this day. My children are now enjoying the same pleasures I did as a child. I would hate to see that destroyed. Please keep the Perk and the Indianhead Dam intact. Thank you.

88 Roy and NancyLeitzPAUSWe have lived on the Perkiomen in the Summer since 1948.The 5th generation of our family is currently enjoying boating, fishing and swimming in the creek. Please don't remove the dam, we love it here. Roy and Nancy Leitz and Family
89 DIONRONIOPAUSYet another political way to screw up our township.Leave the dam in place! If nature destroys it ,so be it. Otherwise, leave well enough alone and spend our resources on more appropriate items. Fix the infrastructure, repair the bridges that cross the creek! Improve the school buildings(Woodland). Respectfully Yours,Dion Ronio

94 Caroline AnnMartinPAUSMy husband and I just renovated the house he grew up in and we recently moved into the house. One of the major contributors to our decision to move here was the Perkiomen. The creek and dam have always held a special place in our hearts and we would be devastated to see the dam taken down. Photography is a hobby of mine, and I'd be more than glad to forward some photos of the Perkiomen/Dam that I've taken to you. Please feel free to use them in anyway they might be helpful to the cause! Also, if you can send us any posters or whatnot, I'll be sure to post them on our front lawn and help to spread the news. :) Caroline Martin
