Our goal is to preserve the recreational area here upstream to the Indian Dam on the Perkiomen Creek and to protect the habitat of a threatened species, the Bald Eagle. This stretch of water on the Perkiomen is enjoyed by many, for many generations, and would be a loss to the residents AND the community, should the dam be destroyed. We are looking at all possible angles to protect this dam. The dam is in jeopardy as a result of a movement to remove all dams along waterways in Pennsylvania.
