Our goal is to preserve the recreational area here upstream to the Indian Dam on the Perkiomen Creek and to protect the habitat of a threatened species, the Bald Eagle. This stretch of water on the Perkiomen is enjoyed by many, for many generations, and would be a loss to the residents AND the community, should the dam be destroyed. We are looking at all possible angles to protect this dam. The dam is in jeopardy as a result of a movement to remove all dams along waterways in Pennsylvania. Please join us in saving this very unique recreational waterway that is created by the dam has and is accessible to all of us. |
