   Comments: I can't believe this is happening - Ideal is the absolute best show on any BBC channel. Which is quite a bold statement considering BBC4's excellent output. Please, please, please leave us our wonderful oasis of surreal, cult TV. Life without a dose of Psycho Paul would be drab indeed.

   Comments: fantastic programme at its peak of viewer ratings, would be a massive shame and a blow to all its fans to stop producing it now. 1 more series to clear up all loose ends PLEASE, I think the fans, and of which there are many all around the world would respect a rethink on this issue

    Comments: Best show on the box by a mile, can't cost much to make, brings in an excellent amount of viewers for the slot its in... what is the problem BBC3? Maybe your viewers don't want a 'clean sweap', maybe they like this and some of your other shows already. Save Ideal!!

    Comments: The Idea of killing Ideal is Idiotic and I feel that if these actions will take place there will be a lot f anger directed at the BBC from a lot of people. I didn't realize there were any shows similar to Ideal and if there are I haven't heard of them and I don't think they would be very good just because of the way Ideal can get away with its amazing and unique humor. Not Going Out could end at any point and no one would wonder "Oh I wounder what life will be like now" but that's the thing about Ideal you care about the amazing characters Graham Duff has created!

    Comments: Instead of showing continued Cops doing there jobs, antique dealers doing there jobs, House decroators/buiders ..doing there jobs, teenagers having problems with spots etc. SAVE IDEAL!

    Comments: I think you should bring it back because ideal was the one of the big things me and my friends looked forward to every year and im sure a lot of other people feal the same.. if you are going to finish it you could have at least finished the story instead of just leaving it on an open cliff hanger.. i think this calls for at least one more series of ideal...thanks

    Comments: This is one of the only truely origional comady's out there at the moment, in a world of 'just ad water' sitcoms that although they are different, afe basically all the same!! idea brought laughter to so mainy and made us really think and it would be criminal to cancel it!!

    Comments: Frankly Ideal is the only show currently worth watching on BBC3. The characterisations and plots have continued to grow in depth and quality and the last series has been a high point. I genuinely can't understand this decision - ridiculous!

I'm sorry but this is a HUGE mistake, this program is actually going from strength to strength, and as has been said, is attracting both increasing ratings and higher calibre guest stars - Rula Lenska in Series 7! Why would you chop a show that is a proven success? This is not a clean sweep, it is somebody doing a job when they are utterly inept.

Everything about the show is perfect, I have never heard of anyone watching it and disliking the program. We have come to know and love each and every character. Ideal must live on! its just... This show was growing in strength globally and there are a cast full of talented, passionate people and the best writer of comedy ever, all coming together to make Ideal the perfect comedy. If you have any compassion whatsoever you'll give it at least another series.
