Comments: How could one want to ruin the Les Paul Echo Chambers for a few dollars and some condos. They must not know music very well!

Comments: It's unthinkable that you would let a condo project destroy such an audio treasure. This is not just a tragedy for Capital, it really is a tragedy to all of Los Angeles and it would destroy a historic landmark. Would you let them build condos in front of the "Hollywood" sign Would you let them tear up the walk of stars Demolish the Gamble House Rename Sunset Bvd These are things that can't be replaced! The Capital acoustics were designed by Les Paul - the guy who invented multitrack recording! The recording and film industries made LA what it is and are an irreplaceable part of our heritage. Destroying that historic structure would be like bulldozing Abby Road Studios. Please don't do it!

Comments: In the UK we have palaces, castles and Abbey Road Studio's. In the USA you have the White House and the Capitol Records Tower. This building is an important part of history, and should not be lost for any reason. It's as iconic as the Hollywood sign, but has so much more meaning to people all over the world.

Comments: The Capitol Building on Vine st. in hollywood has great historical signifigance. Keeping this landmark building and improving on it would generate more tourism and is a big part of the history of Hollywood. When I recently visited, I was suprised to find that there were no tours for the public to see the inside of this building! The great Nat "King" Cole recorded here, Frank sinatra, and , Les Paul and many other legends of American Songbook recorded here. Viewing the Hollywood skyline I also associate this building with it. I would be willing to contribute to a fund to save and enhance this truly historical building! Sincerely Maria Brand

Comments: Like the pyramid if we don't take steps now, what will our children have to remember us by. This is how it all started?

Comments: Please do not destroy an important landmark. Thanks. Moreover, increasing available apartments would encourage more immigration into an already crowded city.
