| 1201 | Troy Restvedt | How could one want to ruin the Les Paul Echo Chambers for a few dollars and some condos. They must not know music very well! |
| 1202 | Anonymous | It's unthinkable that you would let a condo project destroy such an audio treasure. This is not just a tragedy for Capital, it really is a tragedy to all of Los Angeles and it would destroy a historic landmark. Would you let them build condos in front of the "Hollywood" sign? Would you let them tear up the walk of stars? Demolish the Gamble House? Rename Sunset Bvd? These are things that can't be replaced! The Capital acoustics were designed by Les Paul - the guy who invented multitrack recording! The recording and film industries made LA what it is and are an irreplaceable part of our heritage. Destroying that historic structure would be like bulldozing Abby Road Studios. Please don't do it! |
| 1203 | Philip Parrott | In the UK we have palaces, castles and Abbey Road Studio's. In the USA you have the White House and the Capitol Records Tower. This building is an important part of history, and should not be lost for any reason. It's as iconic as the Hollywood sign, but has so much more meaning to people all over the world. |
