Name: Valerie Yaros on Jun 20, 2008Comments: Please do the right thing, Council President Garcetti & Planning Commissioners. Do not let this destruction happen to and near a landmark building like Capitol Records (need we also mention the seriously threatened CBS Columbia Square). Too much of Hollywood has been destroyed already, evidently with the City's blessing. Do you wish this famous little town (and Hollywood IS little) to eventually look just like any other city in America, only with a few "token" landmarks remaining, dwarfed by soaring skyscrapers

Name: Barry Rudolph on Jun 20, 2008Comments: Let's protect one of the many reasons developers are seeking to build in Hollywood: That "Hollywood Magic"---a big part of the history and sound of the Capitol Records Tower studios and famed echo chambers. Halt the condo project at 6230 Yucca now! Perserve the glamour of Hollywood for generations to come.

Name: Maureen Schultz on Jun 23, 2008Comments: Please save this very important building to the Hollywood community. If any building identifies Hollywood around the work, it it the Capitol Tower. Let's not look back five years from now and find that we once again made a mistake in not preserving our history.

Name: Anonymous on Jun 23, 2008Comments: This studio is an important asset that is used on a daily basis by the entire entertainment industry: music, film, TV, etc. It provides work for significant amounts of creative professionals. Smart development can happen and co-exist with the studio, but not with the current plan.
