this is a community farm in bournemouth run by the college who are planning to close it down in july because they want to cut money. the farm is used for students to study horticulture but they also give you a unique experience as a previous student of the farm i can tell you it is a life changing experience. the farm is only 1.5 acres big but it hold many events such as the harvest festival. in the summer we have over 6 disabled schools and well over 100 students from these schools visit the farm every week.the students from the disabled schools gain immense pleasure and knowledge from the farm, the student from these schools have such disabilities as cerebral palsy and they love the farm so much they dont want to leave. the farm has had thousands of pounds sent on it and it was well worth the money and two years down the line they want to close it down as it is not making enough money i dont think the have given it a chance.
