| 1952 | Anonymous | My novel Myth Shattering, starts off with the kids smoking out in Hidden Valley. That was our stomping grounds in the 70s and 80s before the Newland Center was build and before the Newland House was remodeled. We used to believe that old house in that field was haunted. |

| 1954 | steven salazar | the place is history and many have put their strength and time into building it. you cant just take away all that hard work just like that |
| 1955 | Matt Zurbuchen | The jumps themselves are not the problem. In the lower mainland of Vancouver B.C. there are successful and legal jump parks that don't cause trouble. It's the surrounding unpatrolled and secluded area around the jumps that attract parties and homeless. |

| 1979 | Kristian Wagner | Save those trails! |
| 1980 | Matt Thompson | I came to Huntington Beach solely to ride at Hidden Valley and know the trail stewards well. The problem with the area rests at the feet of the vagrants, resident homeless population, and underage drinkers - not with those who work tirelessly to build and maintain a great recreational spot.
Plowing these jumps will only increase the problems in the area, not diffuse them. Please let the trail stewards be a part of the solution. Let them keep their passion - it will positivley influence the neighborhood and community. |

| 1995 | Greg Lambert | |
| 1996 | Michael Swingle | I attempted this same thing when the Slater trails were plowed by homeowners in the surrounding neighdorhood. The Independant newspaper did a story on it. HB wants to put there head in sand and not acknowledge BMX exist. Give me an email back and I tell you happened or just call 714-504-5388 |
