Name: Clive Milton on Mar 2, 2010Comments: Sirs: I ask you to reconsider closing any of the law libraries as they are my only resources for legal research. I am pro se in a complex litigation and the libraries and the librarians have been exceptionally helpful, but to lose them would be a travesty. Pro Se litigants do not have access to on-line research, treatises, POF etc and without that access we cannot fight for justice. On-line companies like Lexis Nexis and Westlaw are simply out of our financial reach. We need the libraries unless you can pay for us to have access to Westlaw, Loislaw and Lexis Nexis. The people that staff those libraries are invaluable in helping pro se's find their way throught the legal maze. Please do not close the Hartford or any other law library as travelling long distances to one that remains open is prohibitively expensive and time consuming. Yours most sincerely, Clive MiltonFlag

Name: ClaudetteL. Worth on Apr 21, 2010Comments: Closing the law library in Hartford would place a larger number of people already at a 'disadvantage' - ie, low income or unemployed, students, etc. Please help to do whatever is necessary to keep this resource available in Hartford and the other towns as well. Thank you.Flag
