The purpose of this petition is to show potential sponsors that there still is interest in the competitive Halo scene. We can no longer sit and hope that MLG will host Halo tournaments. Going forward we have to learn from the example set by the Call of Duty and Gears of War communities and start up our own grassroots leagues to keep our game alive. *To clarify this petition is in no way anti-MLG in any way. I fully understand MLG's position on the current state of Halo and I support any Halo tournaments that they decide to run.* The goal for this petition is to get 1000+ signatures in order to pitch to potential sponsors to build up a new league to foster the growth of the Halo community. Thank you to all that take the time to sign this. Competitive Halo has brought me some of my best friends and great memories and it kills me to watch it slowly slip to the wayside.
