President Trachtenberg and Fellow Chairpersons:
It is the intent of this petition to keep music a strong part of George Washington’s student life. Music programs are vital to GW as the university aims to “attract and retain an increasingly talented student population.” As music fosters “academic and intellectual development” as well as “experiential learning”, it is a vital part of student life and should not be denied to interested students. The signatories below object to the elimination of instrumental and vocal instruction and request the current levels of music offerings remain. |
