Name: Anonymous on Mar 18, 2008Comments: this is a great place to go and enjoy the great out doors of st lucie county. you get to meet new people from all over the state. it would be a shame if this is fenced off from the people. many bike riders have put many hours building this trail at no ones expense but theres. hopefully something can be done to save this fun exciting place.Flag

Name: Cathy DiBiase on Mar 18, 2008Comments: I have never ridden this trail but I don't think any trail should be closed if it is viable, functional and maintained which seems to be the case from what I read above. If this one trail get's closed it may affect others. We need more trails not less.Flag

I mean they pay tax to) Keep the trail open please. Please let me know if there are any meetings concerning this petition. Let see how important "keeping Saint Lucie County beautiful" means to the people trying to put this fence up...Just Remember ..dirt is not only in the ground...Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 18, 2008Comments: Please keep the mountain bike trail at the Crossroads at Ft. Pierce open to the public. Seems like vehicles don't want to share the road and now you want to take away the off road riding. Seems very selfish to take away a clean sport that many people of all ages enjoy...good clean fun and healthy exercise! My first off road ride was on this trail many years ago and it had trash all over it until the cyclist cleaned it up!Flag

Name: Ken Szilagyi on Mar 18, 2008Comments: I have just started this sport and I have been lucky enough to have this trail 20 min away. The trail is taken care of better than county parks I have been to. A lot of time and donations have been spent by many. Please save this trail it is great for the youth of our communities. We are mindful of all conservation and do not want to lose this asset that attracks people to the county from all over. It supports the local economy through the stores that surround the area.Flag
