Name: Rachel McGuire on Jan 13, 2010State: New JerseyComments: Seriouslly, why would you close down a VOLUNTEER station? Its a recession, shouldn't we be brainstorming how to save the tax payers (the people who are really affected) money?! I live relatively close to that firehouse and almost daily see people going in and out of it. These men and women are dedicated individuals! And when a fire call comes in the truck is always out the door before Hamilton has even reached Klockner! Save our volunteers!Flag

Name: Mark Bendetti on Jan 14, 2010State: New JerseyComments: Operation Santa, walking around the community in the freezing cold, running into burning buildings, what more do these men and women have to do to convince you not to close them? If anything close those tax hikers over at Hamilton. No disrespect but I only ever see them parked at WaWa spenidng our tax dollars.Flag

Name: James Grbac on Jan 14, 2010State: New JerseyComments: To have a local fire house that has been around for over 100 years would be a shame. Volunteers are what built the fire service, just ask Ben Franklin. I was a volunteer for 15 years, and it if need be I would come back to ensure that this station remains.Flag

Name: James Michael Zoladz on Jan 16, 2010State: New JerseyComments: Why on earth would anyone want to close a fire station. It's absoutly ludicris to think some high up politician with an agenda would put the safety and security of a community at risk because of budget set backs or political gain.Flag

Name: M. Clauss on Jan 20, 2010State: New JerseyComments: I find this township appauling. 15 years ago the volunteer ambulance squads were in jeapardy. Yardville has gone under and Rusling is almost gone. Nottingham hardly has crews. I attended a fire commissioner meeting at that time for help. A lions den to be sure. Fire fighters did not see the need to help the squads. It was the squads opinion at that time that the districts are out of wack. Enterprise was one. Nottingham F.D came right into thier back yard. Every mayor has tried to address this. The commissioners run the show. If they want you to close so be it. What a shame. Redistricting is the answer and always has been. Fire tax dollars should be shared evenly. It will never happen. So we pay for ambulance service now and soon there will be no volunteers in Hamilton. Good luck. I hope you can survive. I sure hope history does not repeat itself.Flag

Name: Charles F. Prettyman on Jan 25, 2010State: New JerseyComments: Although I am not a resident of your Fire District, I dance two evenings a week - Wednesday and Friday - and also have taken many hours of private dance instructions in the ballroom on the second floor of the Enterprise Firehouse. My home is located in Columbus, New Jersey. Dancing is a wonderful form of exercise as well as way for social interaction. A few months ago I had open-heart surgery and this weekly exercise coupled with daily walking has made a tremendous improvement in my health. I would hate to see the Enterprise Fire House be closed along with its ballroom. If there is anything else I can do to assist the Enterprise Fire House, please contact me.Flag

Name: Robert Ronan on Jan 28, 2010State: New JerseyComments: i lived one house down from enterprise at 55 junior ave most of my childhood. and always knew a great group of guys to be at 14-2. My brother was one of them. if 14-2 gets shut down it could greater the chance of someone losing there life or there house. being a Firefighter/EMT myself i know how important it is to and how it feels to save a life or how it feels to make a difference. so a big mistake would be made if enterprise was shut down.Flag
