I am a young member of Enterprise Vol. Fire Co. I too would prefer FULL disclosure of the facts so that the members of the community can make an informed judgment about their position. The commissioners and the news media have been unfair in their reporting. The commissioners have clouded the issue and have failed to inform the public they represent of all of the relevant facts pertaining to the situation in District 4. · The publicly elected board consists of 4 members or spouses of members from Hamilton and only 1 member from Enterprise. This is a supermajority that is currently unchecked by the system. · There has been prior approval to purchase and construct a new firehouse by UPS to consolidate and centralize the companies. · Other publicly funded organizations are supported by volunteer organizations. For example the PTA supports the Teachers Union, Candy Stripers support the Hospitals, etc. The involvement of the community via volunteerism is good for...
