451 Tom BralisDr. Pasteris is an amazing principal
452 andreas papakostasThose who do wrong for the sake of a few will always have to deal with the consequences at the end. I would like to know on what merits was Dr. Pasteris not issued a renewal of his contract?

460 Grandma BettyAs a Grandparent of three children in this school district as well as a taxpayer of this community, I am appalled at the actions of John Harper and our elected school board members. John, you know the reason you convinced those few board members not to reinstate this honerable man is because of your own personal, political agenda. How dare you put your childish personality conflict with Dr. Pasteris ahead of the children of our community - the future of the world. John, you are supposed to be an adult and have been entrusted as the leader of the school district. Your behavior is not only childish, but reprehensible. The lesson you have single handedly taught these young adults, John, is that YOU can do whatever you want, with total reckless abandon and with total disregard to what is best for the children. The board members have taught the children that it is okay to succumb to bullies and to not take a stand for what is right and good. Fortunately, however, I know a lot of the parents in our community and have faith in their ability to use this horrific injustice as a teaching tool for our children. I have always taught my children and grandchildren that goodness prevails, and you can count on the fact that I am praying that goodness does prevail, and that Dr. Pasteris is reinstated. I have voted positively for every Referendum which has come up, because I know this affects not only my grandchildren, but all children in our community. Knowing that John Harper is at the helm of the district, makes me very leary about voting for future referendums because I know that he does not act on the best interests of our children - he thinks only of himself. As a Mother and as a Grandparent, I am telling you, John Harper, that you need to be ashamed of the way you have behaved. To the board members, I have taken note of your names, and will not be voting for you in future elections, nor will any of my senior friends in the community. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!
461 Ed JoyceDr. Pasteris, with whom I had the pleasure of working with for many years, knows more about educating today's youth than most people ever will. As a Plainfield taxpayer, I must insist that an egregious error has been made and that the board take a revote.
462 juda buchananDr. Pateris is a gifted and experienced educator and administrator who should immediately be reinstated.

468 Rick RobinsonI agree with Mr. Kolter: This is an outrage! It is further proof of the adage that no good deed goes unpunished.

474 AnonymousDr. P, it goes without saying that you are loved and cherished by the community, and most importantly, your students. Thank you so much for providing the students with so many memories and a wonderful place in which to grow. The school will not be the same without your encouraging smile and uplifting optimism. You did wonderful things for Plainfield North, and I am sure that your success will continue at your new school district. If it was up to the community of Plainfield, and the students whom you have inspired, there would be no doubt that you would be staying. I hope that you understand that this decision is NOT what the students, parents, and faculty wanted. You have my utmost respect, and I hope that you will return to Plainfield North to visit the legacy you created. You are always welcome.
