Lisa Wegrzyn | Let's remove someone who has shown nothing but support and commitment to the students -- makes loads of sense. Sounds like a vendetta.
matthew smith | Dr. P is the best and I want him there my Senior year!

Brian Smith | I think Dr. Pete should remain in our building. I want all the Plainfield schools to be great. All Plainfield schools should work to make our district stronger.

cynthia fulco | I wonder just how many times any member of the board walked through the hallways with Dr. Pasteris? I wonder how many times any member of the board sat and watch a baseball game, football game, bowling game, choir concert and didn't see Dr. Pasteris? How many times did a board member ask a young adult from Plainfield North their opinion of Dr. Pasteris? Look, see listen... you will be surprise by how many students have been touched by Principal Pasteris!

Monica Sparks - PNHS Parent | Our school board needs to be held accountable for their decisions. We are the community which they represent and serve. They owe us an explanation and must give us "just cause" for their decisions. Maybe it is time for some changes in the leadership of our district!!

Laurie Olson | We are extremely disappointed to hear that Dr. P will no longer be the principal at PNHS. We recently moved here and made the decision to live in the PNHS area due to Dr. P and the high achievements the school has accumulated. Please explain why a principal of this calibar would be removed from the school. We sincerely hope the decision will be reversed.

Jennifer Piemonte | Dr. P has always tried to make our experience the best that he can. He is aware that many seniors were angry about the forced move to North from Central, and has attempted to compensate for it.

Joseph Campbell | How dare the Plainfield School Board go against the wishes of the PNHS parents!! If they believe they have information that merits their action, then share it with us; stop hiding behind the cloak, "we've got information the public isn't aware of, and so our 'difficult' decision." Get off your high (and undeserved) horses. As a parent of a PNHS student, I'm appalled at the Board's decision and I want a thorough explanation and accounting. Who are these Philosopher Kings? In a competitive market, individuals survive by their virtues; in the topsy-turvy world of tyrannical School Boards, individuals survive by their ability to play by the tyrant's irrational rules. Well, Dr. Pasteris, to my knowledge and to the knowledge of every one to which I've spoken, has acted in a most virtuous manner, as the principal of PNHS. He values education, the development of independent minds, our students mental and physical welfare and this community. I, like all PNHS parents, have my child's best interest in mind. Whose interests are the tyrants looking our for? I want to know!!

Arsheen A | Dr. P is so cool he shouldnt be 'dismissed'!!!
Susan Smith | We just want our Principal back. My daughter has always spoke highly of him and I think he has done wonders for our school. Don't let a good man go. Our district needs him.
Tracy Lytwyn | Dr. Pasteris has been one of the greatest leaders at Plainfield North. Never did a moment go by where I did not see him smiling, greeting the students, and having faith in all of us, no matter what. He is a wonderful person and a great asset to our school.

Meagan Padgitt | seriously dr.p like makes our school we need to keep him!
Karen Simon | Dr. Pasteris has been a phenomenal principal from Day One at PNHS. He has encouraged the students to be involved academically and in athletics. I remember that he advised the students to be involved in two activities at all times during their high school years. He has attended athletic, musical & academic achievement activities throughout the last three years. I have never known a principal to have such a "warm" desire to be involved in the students' lives. The Plainfield School District NEEDS a principal like Dr. Pasteris.
