Name: Cynthia Fulco on Mar 19, 2008Comments: I wonder just how many times any member of the board walked through the hallways with Dr. Pasteris I wonder how many times any member of the board sat and watch a baseball game, football game, bowling game, choir concert and didn't see Dr. Pasteris How many times did a board member ask a young adult from Plainfield North their opinion of Dr. Pasteris Look, see listen... you will be surprise by how many students have been touched by Principal Pasteris!Flag

Name: Monica Sparks - PNHS Parent on Mar 19, 2008Comments: Our school board needs to be held accountable for their decisions. We are the community which they represent and serve. They owe us an explanation and must give us "just cause" for their decisions. Maybe it is time for some changes in the leadership of our district!!Flag

Name: Laurie Olson on Mar 19, 2008Comments: We are extremely disappointed to hear that Dr. P will no longer be the principal at PNHS. We recently moved here and made the decision to live in the PNHS area due to Dr. P and the high achievements the school has accumulated. Please explain why a principal of this calibar would be removed from the school. We sincerely hope the decision will be reversed.Flag

Name: Joseph Campbell on Mar 19, 2008Comments: How dare the Plainfield School Board go against the wishes of the PNHS parents!! If they believe they have information that merits their action, then share it with us; stop hiding behind the cloak, "we've got information the public isn't aware of, and so our 'difficult' decision." Get off your high (and undeserved) horses. As a parent of a PNHS student, I'm appalled at the Board's decision and I want a thorough explanation and accounting. Who are these Philosopher Kings In a competitive market, individuals survive by their virtues; in the topsy-turvy world of tyrannical School Boards, individuals survive by their ability to play by the tyrant's irrational rules. Well, Dr. Pasteris, to my knowledge and to the knowledge of every one to which I've spoken, has acted in a most virtuous manner, as the principal of PNHS. He values education, the development of independent minds, our students mental and physical welfare and this community. I, like all PNHS parents, have my child's best interest in mind. Whose interests are the tyrants looking our for I want to know!!Flag

Name: Tracy Lytwyn on Mar 19, 2008Comments: Dr. Pasteris has been one of the greatest leaders at Plainfield North. Never did a moment go by where I did not see him smiling, greeting the students, and having faith in all of us, no matter what. He is a wonderful person and a great asset to our school.Flag
