| 213 | Kate | I respect the writers and producers of SGA but I do not believe they have thought this through enough. Elizabeth Weir and Torri Higginson are huge parts of the Stargate franchize with Torri staring in every episode of Atlantis and 3 episodes of SG1 (Of course with a large part in each ep) which is more than Joe Flanigan and Rachel Luttrell and, I believe, only two less SG1 episodes than David Hewlett. This is not a wise decision and the Producers of SGA need to realise that this could have an effect on how long the show runs for. This decision could stop them getting a season 5. |

Now, the cancel Dr. Weir is the worst you could do in my opinion. I really enjoyed the show (I also bought all DVDs), but if you continue your current way, no chance that I will further watch your show. I'm really disappointed that you seem to be unable to write some decent stories for such strong characters. |

| 238 | Katie | The leader of Atlantis cannot be reduced to a "recurring character". Perhaps lesser characters, yes, but a leader that has been an important character in past seasons and is always involved in decisions made can't be simply cut down to less screen time. The reality is, a leader should be involved. Elizabeth should get just enough screen time as John (the military leader). Torri Higginson has proven she can handle this role, and if the producers were going to cut down her time, it would be a slight to the actress and the show would probably lose viewers.
Then again, if it is a choice on Torri's part, I suppose it's her decision. But fans will not be happy. |

Elizabeth doesn't get enough to do as it is, with her not being on Sheppards team, but if she becomes a recurring character she will have nothing to do! I can assure you that no episode will be watched by me from season 4 and onwards unless Elizabeth Weir stays as a regular!! |
