I ask you from whole hearts, doesn´t let TORRI/ELIZABETH go. She is somewhat quite particular. It will be the same whitout you not longer. If I look at the show, I can hardly expect to see TORRI/ELIZABETH. As the message at the 15.01.2007 came, I could not believe it. BRAD WRIGHT said in the interview, that becomes TORRI/ELIZABETH to a recurrent role. That was a shock, the heart was broken me. BRAD WRIGHT please doesn´t do you that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, if not I think it is a mistake to move her to a recurring role. As stated in the petition, Elizabeth Weir is an extremely important character in the show. Not only would I like to see her character relationships with others develop and evolve, but SHE IS THE LEADER OF ATLANTIS.
I just rewatched the episode "Hot Zone" from season one in which Sheppard underminds Weirs authority. How can a show continue without its leader? Did we ever see Stargate SG1s Don Davis moved to recurring even though we didn't see him every episode? NO. Why now?
Perhaps you could do us fans a favor and rethink this decision. Please. |

The biggest irony is that they made Ford a far more interesting character by writing him out! Too many slices and dices just smacks of studio interferrence. And if we do need a SG:1 transfer, then I would've much preferred Claudia Black to replace the dull Ronan. Carter with Rodney just bodes for a series getting a little too heavy in the techno-babble department.... So keep Dr. Weir if Torri Higginson wants to stay... Just create the more imaginative situations that gives her more bite and clout. |
