| 1180 | JulieNG | Torri Higginson is a great actress. She has played her role on Stargate Atlantis with class, style, and has done an exellent job.
Her character has become a lot more than was ever first expected. I myself must admit, that back in the SGC, she just didn't seem to fit in. But she had been given the perfect role on Atlantis that she has used wisely, and she has taken great care of.
Her character development is beautiful. It has all come together perfectly. Torri has done an outstanding job defining Dr. Weir as not only a strong coragious leader, but also a kind and sympathetic friend.
It's a shame to hear that she may be being written off the show!
It's such a great disappointment! It's something she, as an actress, does not deserve.
But maybe it's not that far gone yet.
Maybe there's a plot, a story line already in mind.
Maybe there's a way she will resume her role, without effecting the character development and atmosphere she's achieved.
We can never know for sure.
All we really do know for now is that our voices can make a difference.
Our opinions really do matter, because with every one letter, that's another on the list. And one by one, our voices become heard!
We can not let this happen to long time leader, and friend.
Torri Higginson deserves more. Weir deserves more.
We can all voice our opinions and give her our support!
You're not in this alone. There are so many more like you who've sent letters, and voiced their opinons, but without every one... without their individual voices we could not be heard.
Your opinon really does matter!
And collectively, we will be heard!
