Anonymous | Elizabeth Weir as a strong female leader is one of the strongest points about this show. Her character and interactions with the other members of the expedition are invaluable. Please don't take her away by giving her a recurring role!

Angie | Fan loyalty is based on the love and familiarity of the personalities you come to know not a stage setting or special effects. You can only lose so many characters before it is no longer a show you care about. You are crossing that line.
Angland | Save weir because Weir is great and Atlantis needs great.......... SAVE WEIR FORGET CARTER
Mantas Povelauskas | I'm living in Lithuania and even though no local television is braodcasting...i'm a big fan of SGA and destroying Dr. Weir... would be destroying SGA as a show.
Chris Fernando | Weir is a great character and the moral and ethical compass of the show. To remove her from the show would be a grave mistake.

Bob Johnson | this move is moronic.
Cheryl | Please keep Elizabeth Weir (Torri) as a regular charector and not a recurring one! She is awsome!

Kate | Save Weir!!!
Elena | The show is just starting to come into its own. Please don't pull one of your major characters now. Reminds me very much of another show that tried to go down that road, and never got past the 1st season: Earth 2.
Gabor Sajtos | Save Elizabeth together.
Mesum Nisar | plz We have enjoyed every aspect of the character of Dr. Elizabeth Weir, and we want to see her on the show as a regular character. Not a recurring one.
Virginie | I want keep Elizabeth in the cast of Atlantis!! I love this character and the actress!!
Alexia | It would be travesty to demote Torri Higginson to a recurring role. Her character is, after all, the reason that Stargate Atlantis is a show. The people in power for the show will soon find that their viewership of the show will drop dramatically, should they allow this to happen.
| 1071 | Cassie | Keep Torri as a regular.
The show would not be the same without her. |
Kristine Jover | I've only recently been introduced to SGA, and I was immediately intrigued with the character of Dr Elizabeth Weir (and her portrayal by Torri Higginson). It's so rare, and yet so important, to have a strong female leader in SF shows who ISN'T relegated to a handful of scenes sprinkled through the series, whenever she's needed to make a pronouncement etc. I'm concerned that relegating Weir to a recurring character, instead of regular, would limit her to these sorts of appearances. As I've only started watching SGA (currently making my way through Season 1), anticipating and watching Weir's character develop is what will keep my interest for Seasons 2 & 3. She is such a fascinating character, that to relegate her to recurring is such a shame!
Cilou |
Jochen Riemer | Please keep her a regular cast member
Cristina Lupu | It's unbelievabe that the only way "forward" the executive producers find for the series is to remove essential characters and replace them, instead of letting the existing ones to develop interpersonal relationships and expand. It is really a shame and we should not accept it!

Tom S | I think Torri should continue to be a regular cast member. Dr Weir is the glue that holds Atlantis together.
Adélaïde | je souhaite que le docteur Elizabeth WSeir garde sa place dans Atlantis.

Aku Virtanen |
| 1081 | Tim Smith | Weir is a much loved character, and the loss of her, would really leave a gaps in the show that could not be easily filled. The one thing Atlantis needs to improve on is the interaction between characters. To get rid of such a loved character doesn't seem the way to go about it. Will I still watch the show? With the loss of three main chracters since it started
it's becoming increasingly unlikely. |

Graeme Sharpe | She must be allowed to stay full time! She brings such a big part to the show and it wouldn't be the same without her!!

Jessica Gibson |
Bethany Nankivell |
Stefanie | I can't believe it! Weir is the best of all. She is the leader. What is Atlantis without a leader?????
Cédrik |
david | KEEP HER
Joy van der Klooster | She has to be a regular. She's the heart of the show!
Anonymous | I just want her back as a regular cast member of SGA!!!
Anonymous |
Kalle Kilponen |
Michelle |
Abrean | Please keep her as a regular in the show, it just wouldn't be the same without her. She needs to be in all the episodes or it just isn't SGA
Anonymous | Jeez, what's wrong with Sci-Fi television anymore? If they don't fix this, I'll have to seriously entertain the idea of not watching SGA anymore. And all the Sci-Fi television pairings are getting screwed over, too. Sparky, Jate, Paire are all fading away, and Galactica's dragging its feet about Apollo/Starbuck, too. Maybe I should stick to anime...
Anonymous | Unless this is Torri's decision
Anna Beale |
Grant Timothy Williams | Dr Weir is the leader of Atlantis. Torri Higginson has taken on and developed the charactor into something many fans see as a real entity of its own. If you're to reduce her role, you'll surely reduce what makes Atlantis both a brilliant show on it's own, but also, reduce it's independant identity from Stargate SG-1.
