| 912 | Amber McClellan | What can I say that the other petitioners haven't. She's my favorite character. She brings an element necessary to counter the military presence in Atlantis. Part of the problem here is that you have yet to mention how many epi's she will be in, 5, 10, 18 (preferably)? It's like you're saving the worst news for last. Not to mention your quote, "Torri will be back for some period of time. As a recurring character." These words actually lean toward the implication that you're fazing her out. That after her stint as a recurring, she's gone. Why do this to a character you've taken time to flesh out and who actually has a purpose on Atlantis? At least her character is unique is her qualifications. I only hope I'm wrong about your intentions.

| 949 | Anonymous | She is the heart and sole of atlantis. If she is to be reduced to a re-occuring role, there is nothing that us fans can truly do about it. Especially, without known all the facts it would be unfair to judge. However I believe Ms. Higginson should still play Dr. Weir, as the Leader of Atlantis. Paul (Dr. Beckett) was a reoccuring role and he showed up in almost most of the episodes. Unlike Rainbow ( Ford) who was only in a few. With Amanda Tapping joining for a few Episodes (HOPEFULLY, only a few) I think it would take away from the show if she was less seen than Amanda. I mean first Rainbow, then paul, and now torri? this road seems to lead to less viewings of the show. Please keep Dr. Weir as vital as a character as you can! |
