   Comments: I can't beleive that the council will close this amazing facility - widely used by local people of all ages and social background. This is a wonderful piece of the countryside in the City and is greatly appreciated by many - including the helpers and users of the Riding for the Disabled sessions. Please think again before it is too late!

   Comments: i learned to ride here in the 1970's i then went on to a great career as a riding instructor as my parents were very short of money i would not have been able to do so without this coucil run school

    Comments: This pointless act of closure would be an unforgivable end to what is a unique, harmless, enjoyable and not to mention beneficial outdoor social activity. Cardiff is fast becoming another mis-placed bland, brand inspired and Americanised designer city of chain-stores, chain restaurants blotting out the sun and fresh air from it's streets in favour of greedy a money making agenda. Swimming pools closing in Pontypridd, Splott, and now this. Stop it!

There is no place like it - it is not 'Elitist' but brings great joy to young and old - a little bit of country life within a Capitol City - giving access to the wonderful world of horses (& at affordable prices) the place is unique AND PRICELESS!! The joy is has bought my daughter for the past 7 years & the doors it has opened for her, plus the focus it has given her for her future regarding a focus for possible employment options - you will never know! PONTCANNA IS A JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF CARDIFF CITY - only FOOLS would ever consider it's closure! You have no idea the joy that this place gives and has given to entire families present and past - CARDIFF RIDING SCHOOL MUST STAY OPEN!!

    Comments: After moving away from home to study in Cardiff, Cardiff riding school was like a home away from home, making me feel like i'm back in the countryside again. The teachers are brilliant, really inspiring development within your riding. Removing the Cardiff riding school would be a real shame, and a great loss to Cardiff.

    Comments: I used to attend the riding school when I was younger, for a good few years before I unfortunately had to leave, and it was (and I'm sure still is) such a wonderful place! How the council could even think of closing this place, not only putting people's jobs and rider's therapy/joy at risk, but the horse's lives as well! It's disgraceful!
