Rowan just confirmed that Calmer is staying in production because they heard exactly what you had to say. I honestly never imagined this would have such an impact, but that is entirely a testament to all of you.

Final supporters
In the years that followed, Calmer stayed as one of Rowan's staples, with the company adding colors to the range, leading us to believe that it might have significant longevity in the lineup that non-wool yarns rarely do at any yarn company.
Unfortunately, Rowan have decided to discontinue Calmer. We cannot know their reasons, but as knitters who love this unique, irreplaceable yarn, we want to stand up and show our support and hope that it might influence Rowan to rethink their decision.

I truly never imagined that one thousand people would care this much about a single type of yarn. This momentum belongs entirely to the community of knitters who keep showing up to tell Rowan how much this fiber means to us.

Please bring back Calmer!! It was the only thing I could wear against my skin without itching. So bummed it is gone.
really miss this yarn. nothing else has that same stretch. bring it back
Used this for two cardigans and they are my favorite things in my closet. PLEASE reconsider!
WHY rowan why?? This is the best yarn ever for summer sweaters. Nothing else even comes close to this texture.
I used this for a baby blanket a few years back and it still looks brand new. Amazing stuff, total shame they are ditching it.
I'd love to see this yarn come back!

I love this yarn, it is soft, has a nice drape, maintains its shape, washes well, and stretches.
