The Petition

Rowan created the impossible when they created their Calmer yarn: a non-wool yarn that even wool-loving knitters love using. Softness and stretch, with a construction unlike any other yarn available to knitters. 


In the years that followed, Calmer stayed as one of Rowan's staples, with the company adding colors to the range, leading us to believe that it might have significant longevity in the lineup that non-wool yarns rarely do at any yarn company. 

Unfortunately, Rowan have decided to discontinue Calmer. We cannot know their reasons, but as knitters who love this unique, irreplaceable yarn, we want to stand up and show our support and hope that it might influence Rowan to rethink their decision.
