The petition
United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), and all the major and minor countries around the globe, here you will see people around the world, with their sincere hearts, supporting to bring peace, justice and democracy to Myanmar (Burma) by signing the petition. We urge all the nations to unite and consider resolving the century long crisis. We request you to put economical matters aside and to procede with just judgements, and actions to stop the violence of torturing, killing, burning/burying alive, and inhumane brutal acts to the innocent monks, students, and citizens, by the Burmese military regime.
This is a petition to ask the UN to take immediate action against the Burmese military Junta under the Human rights act, following another disastrous example of the inhumane way the junta is treating its own people, by refusing to help them after the latest cyclone.
In fact, the junta has refused to stop its export of rice, and prefers to keep selling it and make money rather than giving it to its dying population.
If nothing is done, the death toll of the Nargis cyclone could soon reach over 1 million dead.
