Michael WybornDont we have enough houses in this town, someone needs to get a grip at the council
Beryl Moore
Richard YatesI visited the public consultation for Poole Town's proposed new ground today. There were at least 6 councillors including the leader of the council there to offer support and talk to residents. This is how councils should be helping local football teams.

AnonymousHow can a council let this happen !!
Robert BakerYet again a council is trying to rip the heart out of a community.
AnonymousCouncils should realise football clubs are part of the community and help them in every way possible - not the other way round.

AnonymousThis is my local team. Please don't make it close
Simon EverestThe council should be ashamed of themselves - they should be working with the club to provide something for the community. Looks like all politicians are the same - a disgrace!
AnonymousCouncils should support football and playing fields alone small clubs should be assisted not trodden on.

Kevin TicehurstSave the hillians, The council will not destroy BHTFC.
Mr R HideBHTFC is part of the history of Burgess Hill, bringing pleasure to thousands of residents. Leylands Park is a pleasant semi rural area which is much appreciated by all who live locally. Replacing it with housing is not an option that is tennable locally.
Paul HaywardSussex needs it's community teams. Fight on! From a loyal Albion fan.

AnonymousWith 'friends' like Mid-Sussex District Council, who needs enemies?
David Rider
Ian WalkerPlease either let them stay at their ground or find them a new one.

Peter PittsBurgess Hill Town were there long before the current housing estate and it would be sacrilage to build on their ground.
Auntie SleddA disgraceful situation. Sort this crap out NOW MSDC & stop your wanten distuction of your own community! Best Wishes to all at BHTFC & keep up the fight x
John PittsTo build on more greenbelt and deprive a community of it' s senior football team is a disgrace. When the government is actively encouraging more sport for young and not so young people how can they let this happen?
Chris TillAs a Sittingbourne fan, we've been there and got the tee shirt. Swale Borough Council have so far shafted all 3 clubs in their borough. Thankfully, due to a number of dedicated people, Sittingbourne survived and Faversham have been reborn. Sheppey Utd will hopefully rise again too.
Joe Duddridge
Emma Pannell
Nigel DudleyA great club and ground. Had a friendly welcome down there for the Vase Quarter Final a few years back. It would be sacrilidge to build on such a place but these, days, money seems to be god and people don't matter so much.
Keith BeaumontLets hope common sense prevails. The Peoples game....My Ar$e........Not anymore.

Ali KazemiNo way should the coucil be putting the future of Burgess Hill Town under threat - they should be supporting the club, who have in turn supported the community for so many years.
